Foster Grandparent Program in Broward County

The Foster Grandparent Program in Broward County is part of Senior Corps, a network of national service programs that provide older Americans the opportunity to volunteer for a child and put their life experiences to work for local communities.
Eligibility for Foster Grandparent ProgramThe Foster Grandparent Program is open to people age 55 and over. For individuals who meet low-income eligibility requirements a small tax-free stipend of $2.65 per hour is provided. All applicants undergo a background check.
Foster Grandparents serve 15–20 hours per week.

volunteer for child Working with young children on school readiness, alphabet and number recognition, etc.
