Foster Grandparent Program in Broward County
 |
The
Foster Grandparent Program in Broward County is part of Senior
Corps, a network of national service programs that
provide older Americans the opportunity to volunteer
for
a child and put their life experiences to work
for local communities.
|
Eligibility
for Foster Grandparent Program
The Foster Grandparent Program is open to people age
60 and over. For individuals who meet low-income eligibility
requirements a small tax-free stipend of $2.65 per hour
is
provided. All applicants undergo a background check.
Foster Grandparents serve 15–20 hours per week.

with young children on school readiness, alphabet
