Help for Caregivers

Respite for Caregivers Program

Help for Caregivers Respite for Caregivers provides in-home help for caregivers by Senior Companions to relieve caregivers of older adults. It offers a much needed break to family members and loved ones providing constant care for a homebound senior. Help for caregivers can increase a caregiver’s ability to attend to a relative without becoming ill themselves

Whether it’s a day of shopping, a walk in the park or a night out, caregivers deserve and need time to themselves.
This program provides that free of guilt and free of charge.

The program is sponsored under the RELIEF Program which is sponsored by Senior Volunteer Services, Inc., Areawide Council on Aging of Broward County, Inc. and the State of Florida, Department of Elder Affairs.
